Why we use the materials that we use
Yarn

Firstly, we dont use natural wool. And this is on purpose!
Acrylic yarn offers several advantages that make it a practical choice for various applications. Its durability allows it to withstand wear and tear from elements like rocks and equipment, ensuring long-lasting performance. Acrylic is also lightweight and provides good heat retention, making it ideal for keeping warm in cooler conditions. Additionally, it’s machine washable and resists shrinking, offering convenience and low maintenance. The yarn’s smooth fibers create clean stitches with low friction, and its non-felting properties make it easier to wash compared to wool.
For us, every detail matters, and the materials we choose are a reflection of our commitment to quality, sustainability, and functionality. The logo tags are crafted from premium faux leather, offering the luxurious look and feel of leather without the environmental and ethical concerns of animal-derived materials. This durable, weather-resistant alternative aligns with our values and complements the rugged outdoor nature of the brand. To secure the tags, we use solid brass Chicago screws, known for their strength, longevity, and timeless aesthetic. These screws not only ensure the tags stay firmly in place but also add a touch of understated elegance, embodying the perfect balance between form and function. Together, these materials reflect our dedication to creating products that are as durable and ethical as they are stylish.
Packaging
We are committed to protecting the great outdoors that inspire our designs. That’s why we use fully recyclable packaging for all our products. By choosing materials that can be reused or recycled, we reduce waste and minimise our impact on the environment. This aligns with our belief in sustainable practices, ensuring that you can enjoy luxury without compromising on eco-responsibility. Our packaging is carefully selected to balance durability with environmental consciousness, helping to preserve the landscapes we love for future generations.
